Samenvatting project
Cauliflower is an important vegetable for which the production of a marketable end product is threatened by high temperatures during development. We are aiming to develop a bioassay to efficiently phenotype for these temperature effects. Secondly, we want to create generic technology to identify associated genomic regions and genes. We expect that the outcomes of this research will aid the breeding of climate-proof cauliflowers, and will be of use for improving the quality of other brassicas.
